FAQs
Got questions?
Here’s everything you need to know before making it yours.
Is Keemate app free?
Yes. The beta version does not require a paid plan, it comes with test credits.
The beta version is compatible with Mac only. Windows and Linux on development
The Studio Pad works with macOS, Windows, and Linux
Which Macs are supported?
A preorder lets you secure a Studio Pad before it goes into full production. By reserving early, you guarantee your unit (at an exclusive launch price) and help us plan production more accurately so we can deliver on time.
Do I need an API key?
No. Keemate comes with AI credits built in. You can add your own key any time to unlock more models.
Is my data private?
Everything runs on your Mac. Your keys stay in the Keychain, and your text is sent only to the model you choose.
How do updates work?
Keemate updates itself in the background, so you are always on the latest beta.
Do I need a Studio Pad to make it work?
No. You can use most features without a Studio Pad. However, for the best experience it is recommended to use both.
