Keep frequent text, useful links, and ongoing work close at hand.

Clipboard history

Search for Clipboard History to review recent copied content and paste an item again. Use it when the thing you need is no longer the latest item on your clipboard.

Be mindful of sensitive content when copying. Review the history controls in your installed build to remove items you do not want to keep.

Snippets

A snippet stores text that you use repeatedly, such as a reply, signature, or frequently typed phrase. Create one from the Snippets tool and give it a recognizable label or trigger.

Type ; in the command bar to find snippets. Choose the one you need and use the available paste action. Keep private information out of snippets that you intend to share.

Quicklinks

Quicklinks give frequently used destinations a searchable name. Open the Quicklinks tool, add a destination, and choose a keyword you will remember.

Try a link to your project board, reference material, or a folder you visit often. Verify the destination once before assigning the quicklink to a physical key.

Context Vault

The Context Vault is a beta feature for finding and reusing your own saved knowledge. Enable it in the relevant settings if it is available in your build. Type ? to search the vault.

When vault context is used in an AI request, relevant content may be included in the request to the selected AI service. Local storage does not mean every AI operation stays on the device.

Tasks and follow-ups

Open Tasks to inspect AI work that produces a separate result or continues in the background. A task records the model that ran it and can offer follow-up actions.

Use a follow-up to refine a response while keeping its context. Review the output before pasting it into another app or using it as the input for another command.

Bring a tool to the pad

When a tool offers a compatible saved action, you can assign it to Studio Pad. Actions that still need you to make a choice may require opening the app rather than running immediately.
